“I am Holding Up the Cross in One Hand and North Korean Orphans in the Other”

A few of you know that my book arrived about 3 weeks ago.  Perhaps you remember Steve

A Korean boy named Gil Su tells what his life was like inside North Korea–and how he escaped.

and Annie Chapman?  Focus on the Family calls them Musical Ambassadors to the Family.  Annie was like a big sister to me when I was a middle school girl at my parents’ camp for inner city children.  I saw Annie at a retreat a couple weeks ago and she asked me to let her know what I’m doing.  I replied, “I am holding up the cross in one hand and North Korean orphans in the other.”  You can see the book trailer here.  Feel free to cut and paste the trailer onto your FB or link your friends here to watch it.  It’s on You Tube.  If you’d like to order a copy, the Amazon link is underneath the book trailer.

About Lift the Cross of Jesus!

My day job is writing--I'm an author and publisher of a number of books. More on that later. But there is nothing of greater importance to me than the early morning hours I spend with the Creator of the Universe. Although He knows everything there is to know, His greatest delight isn't to give us knowledge, but to give us love. My highest joy is to watch the sun rise with notebook in hand and write the words he speaks to my heart. I want to share some of those words with you here . . . words on the cross.
