Friends, it’s been quiet on the blog for a few days. I attended a women’s conference with singer/speaker Julie Meyer. Talk about the cross! Wow, does that lady pack a song!
I am so glad that Mark decided to contribute one of his poems to the blog. Mark has a great compassion for people who don’t know God but perhaps would like to know him. I think you’ll see that reflected in his poem, Love Song of Redemption
Love Song of Redemption
( Just in case you don’t know God . . . this one’s for you! )
Have you heard the revelation – all about the Resurrection
And what it is that Jesus did for you 1
There’s a story that foretold Him 2
There’s a grave that could not hold Him 3
So you’d realize that He did rise for you
It’s a love song of redemption
Of the power of His affection
Your salvation rests at Heaven’s open door
The world brought you affliction
The Lord brought crucifixion
So you don’t have to suffer anymore 4
Now just call the Name of Jesus 5
He’s the one that came to save us
All of Heaven is rejoicing over you 6
You won’t miss the life you’re living
You will love the life He’s giving
And you’ll realize- that He did rise for you
And you’ll see the place that He prepared for you 7
It’s a love song of redemption over you

Do you have an Easter poem you can send us?
