Are you looking for a good read this weekend? If you’re like me, you like to have a good novel nearby to pick up when you need some downtime. I’m so pleased to offer you a FREE file of a book that I co-authored with Gospel singer and songwriter, David Stearman, titled Hummingbird.
The lion’s share of this story goes to David Stearman, so I insisted that he take the front cover authorship. You will recognize Hope’s writing style in the first pages of this book and perhaps sprinkled throughout the rest of the book.
Ready to read? Leave a comment below and request the book. If you don’t have an E-reader, no worry! I have a PDF file you can read on your laptop. The only thing that my agent and publisher ask is that you take a couple minutes after you read the book and write a review on Amazon (Click here) or Barnes & Noble (Click here), wherever you buy your books.
Help us spread the word on Hummingbird! OFFER GOOD UNTIL AUGUST 30th
Overview
Hummingbird is the story of Lexa Morales, a misfit. Abandoned as a child, Lexa is Mexican by ethnicity and American at heart, but feels more like the dash between the words that compose the term Mexican-American than anything else. In her struggle to arise from the ghetto of her youth, Lexa commits a crime and flees south of the Border to escape prosecution. While hiding from bounty hunters in a small fishing village, Lexa finds redemption, discovers her true identity, and becomes part of a forever family and a Kingdom without borders.

Aw-oh. A copyeditor’s reading the novel. Now I’ll know for sure if it “sings”! Thanks, Jo Ann!

Hurray! You didn’t specify a format, Jenell, but PDF is easy, so I sent that to you via Facebook. You read my previous books so you’ll probably recognize Hope’s part in this. This book has a different style about it and we can thank David Stearman for his fresh POV and his obvious love for the Mexican people, including immigrants.

Thanks, Marlene. What a blessing! I just read the review you did on Amazon for Out of North Korea yesterday. As you know, it truly helps people to decide if the book is for them or not. Marlene, you’ve read my other books so you may see Hope here and there, but the lion’s share of this novel goes to David Stearman. I think I’m a little nervous–it’s a co authored venture and Diana agented it for us. Sweet! Look for the PDF in your email inbox.
