Marlene Bagnull directs the Colorado Christian Writers Conference in the Rockies every year in May. She also directs the Philly Christian Writers Conference in late July/early August. Hope you’ll come! Hope plans to be there in 2013!
Good Monday morning! GOD morning! News update on the novel–I sent a few of you the pre-edited version on PDF! Yikes!! If you are one of those who received the PDF file of Hummingbird, please let me know and I will resend you the EDITED version. Sorry about that. This offer still stands until August 30th. (The Kindle and Nook versions should be fine–please let me know if you’re finding typos!)
A big thank you to the Colorado and Philly Christian Writers Conferences director, Marlene Bagnull, for letting me know about the mistakes in the PDF! And a HUGE THANK YOU to Marlene for posting her review on Amazon!
Ready to read? Leave a comment below and request the book. If you don’t have an E-reader, no worry! I have a PDF file you can read on your laptop. The only thing that my agent and publisher ask is that you take a couple minutes after you read the book and write a review on Amazon (Click here) or Barnes & Noble (Click here), wherever you buy your books.
Help us spread the word on Hummingbird! OFFER GOOD UNTIL AUGUST 30th
Overview
Hummingbird is the story of Lexa Morales, a misfit. Abandoned as a child, Lexa is Mexican by ethnicity and American at heart, but feels more like the dash between the words that compose the term Mexican-American than anything else. In her struggle to arise from the ghetto of her youth, Lexa commits a crime and flees south of the Border to escape prosecution. While hiding from bounty hunters in a small fishing village, Lexa finds redemption, discovers her true identity, and becomes part of a forever family and a Kingdom without borders.
