“Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided,
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me!”
This is one of my favorite hymns! (Click the picture).
I want to testify that while I felt a bit stuck in 2012 writing on topics of lesser interest to me–namely, pets and how to rescue and care for them–God blessed my obedience in this. He knows how much I love mission work and evangelism especially. He honored me in 2012 by allowing me to have a small part in writing for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assocation. I was SO honored to write and edit work within a teacher’s manual for Samaritan’s Purse. (And thanks to my mom for her ever ready assistance when I call her for help with children’s work).
As if that wasn’t enough, God totally surprised me and allowed me to participate in copyedit work for an upcoming book by African Evangelist, Reinhardt Bonnke. (And thanks to my assitant copyeditor, Jessica Austen).
Harvest Joy documents God’s outstanding harvest in the continent of Africa, with MORE THAN 60 MILLION SOULS BORN AGAIN IN AFRICA through Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry!!!! GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!
All I can say is that God is so faithful to me–not because of me, but in spite of me. GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS, LORD UNTO ME!!
Praise the Lord for giving you such wonderful opportunities to write where your heart beats the strongest! AMEN, girl! I’m rejoicing with you!

Thanks, Becky. He is so merciful to me. I don’t deserve it, honestly. Such clay hands here, but he blesses me and gives me mercy and favor in spite of all my shortcomings. But I had to testify. He’s the greatest literary agent a writer could ever have!

Thank you, Pastor Oldfield. You will appreciate this–when I was a little girl I heard that you get a star in your crown for every person you lead to Jesus. I kept trying to picture Billy Graham trying to walk around heaven with a crown that reached way high up into the clouds of heaven!!!! Seriously!! I marveled that God could actually attach one more star onto that man’s crown and the thought entertained me quite often! Yes, I even imagined that his crown was so tall that he couldn’t get into heaven’s courtroom door and once I pictured him falling over sideways from the sheer weight of the thing. Haha!
