THINK SPRING!

Winter Storm Warning Today, So . . .

THINK SPRING!!!

(I couldn’t resist)

I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses, and the voice I hear falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses . . . and He walks with me, and talks with me. And he tells me I am His own! And the joy we share as we tarry there . . . none other has ever known!

About Lift the Cross of Jesus!

My day job is writing--I'm an author and publisher of a number of books. More on that later. But there is nothing of greater importance to me than the early morning hours I spend with the Creator of the Universe. Although He knows everything there is to know, His greatest delight isn't to give us knowledge, but to give us love. My highest joy is to watch the sun rise with notebook in hand and write the words he speaks to my heart. I want to share some of those words with you here . . . words on the cross.

That was my Dad’s favorite hymn. It goes so well with your photo with the flowers and the dew. Thank you, Hope.

    • Bless you for commenting, Nancy. I used to play/sing that song on the piano for my grandmother–it was her favorite hymn. I didn’t pay a lot of attention to the words back then, but the song stayed with me and takes on so much more meaning now that I’m an adult!
