Old War Horses of Evangelism Say America is Ready for Harvest

It is SO exciting to be alive on the earth in 2013!  I have never seen so many fathers of evangelism being stirred for the United States of America as they are this year, 2013.  EXPECT HARVEST!!

Faith!  It’s time to notch it up!  Notch it up!  Notch it up!

Galloping Horse HerdGod is sending the old war horses of evangelism, even the fathers of evangelism, to America in this hour!  Yahoo!  (Okay, remember this is a blog, not a people and news event column in a magazine, so I can “Yahoo” if I want to!!)  LOL!

I’m so jazzed that I want to tell you about all of these men of God in one blog.  But I can’t.  I know it will overwhelm us.  First, here are some evangelists or men of God that I want to talk about in the next few blogs:

  • Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham
  • Evangelists Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda
  • Evangelist Steve Hill
  • Evangelist James Robison
  • Evangelist Greg Laurie
  • Evangelist Tim Williams

All of these men of God are being stirred for harvest in the USA.  Do you know another evangelist being stirred?  Let us know in a comment below!

In this blog, I want to talk about a man of God that is precious to Americans.  America’s longtime father in evangelism is Dr. Billy Graham.  I have loved this preacher since I was a little girl.

THIS YEAR Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is preparing for a grass roots nationwDr. Billy Grahamide outreach and wants churches and Christians to join them in faith, evangelism, and discipleship in 2013.  They’re calling it, “My Hope America” and it will culminate in November 2013 with a new message from Dr. Billy Graham.

Are you wondering how to help in the coming harvest?  Dr. Graham has graciously invited pastors and INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIANS to join him.  Sign up on his website, My Hope America.

Dr. Graham’s About page says, “My Hope America with Billy Graham is a nationwide effort to reach people across the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following a simple biblical model, My Hope America with Billy Graham combines the impact of video programs with the power of personal relationships. Under the guidance of their local pastors, Christians across America will open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors using one of several new evangelistic programs featuring life-changing testimonies & powerful messages from Billy Graham.”

Could it be that JESUS is looking at America right now?  Could it be that he has compassion on us in all of our sin and corruption and decay?

Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest (Matthew 9:36-38).

Yes, let’s beseech the Lord of the harvest today.

About Lift the Cross of Jesus!

My day job is writing--I'm an author and publisher of a number of books. More on that later. But there is nothing of greater importance to me than the early morning hours I spend with the Creator of the Universe. Although He knows everything there is to know, His greatest delight isn't to give us knowledge, but to give us love. My highest joy is to watch the sun rise with notebook in hand and write the words he speaks to my heart. I want to share some of those words with you here . . . words on the cross.

First – before I even saw who’s post this was, the combination of the Old War Horses and the photo coming up on my reader, caught my full attention. I LAUGHED when I saw who the author was!!! I remember…. 🙂

Second – Steve Hill. I have to tell you, that I had re-blogged a post that Mario Murillo had put up, mid-December if I remember correctly. Mario has posted Steve Hill’s word on the The Spiritual Avalanche. I just looked at my stats. This re-blog of Mr. Hill’s word is still the single most read post on my blog. I had read the word on Facebook several days before seeing it on WP, and knew it was a good word. I was glad to be able to share it here. But I’ve been absolutely astounded that a couple hundred people would read the post. http://alifeinhishands.wordpress.com/2012/12/31/re-the-spiritual-avalanche-steve-hill-vision/
And the oddest thing was that they were reading it the most when I was posting the least. I find hope that things in the spirit have greatly shifted since this vision was made public!

Thirdly – Have you been to Mr. Graham’s Library yet? We had passed it on the way to GA to move my daughter. Much to my surprise, a few days later, Steve and I were spending an afternoon there, a God set-up if there ever was one. It was a couple of the best hours ever spent in our lives. He didn’t want to go, but I watched as God was doing something in him. For me, it was like turning back the clock decades, as I heard the preaching that was so familiar from my youth. If you’ve not been there, I’d highly recommend it! I think you’d love it!

    • Regina, I did not get to see that library, but would love to go there. My whole family went one time, but I somehow missed that trip with siblings, parents, etc. I am so glad you shared your post on Steve Hill. It will validate what I’m about to share in upcoming blogs. Our government is not our hope. We share the hope of the return of Christ and the great harvest that precedes His appearing! Love that!

    • I have to tell you this–we DID go to the Billy Graham Library on our way to Orlando! Great fun! I’ll have to post pix at some point, Regina. Glad you mentioned it here.

Yes! It’s time! There is a circuit riders conference in Lancaster, PA right now that is all about receiving the love of God and taking it to the streets -everywhere-but starting in USA-because the harvest is ready!!
