Preaching to the Undecided Voters

I asked the Lord a question this morning.  There is so much evil right now in the world.

How do we know if the ruler of this world (the devil, John 14:30) is responsible for the evil we see or if people are responsible for the evil?   Ready for the answer?

The devil initiates the dark sin, evil, hate, and lies.

God initiates the love, rescue, life, and truth.

The PEOPLE, one by one, decide.

This is why preaching is important—for the “undecided voters” to hear the gospel and then make up their minds.

Right now the democratic parties are all “preaching” to the undecided voters.  We need to preach to those undecided for the gospel.  This brings me back to the original purpose of this blog—to lift the cross of Jesus so that the MULTITUDES IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION can see the cross, hear the gospel, and make up their minds.

How can the undecided hear the gospel unless someone preaches it?  To win presidency in the United States is a really big deal this year.  But “He/She that wins souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30)

Let’s lift up the cross of Jesus and gather the “undecided” souls into the kingdom of God!

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.  (Joel 3:14 NKJV)

About Lift the Cross of Jesus!

My day job is writing--I'm an author and publisher of a number of books. More on that later. But there is nothing of greater importance to me than the early morning hours I spend with the Creator of the Universe. Although He knows everything there is to know, His greatest delight isn't to give us knowledge, but to give us love. My highest joy is to watch the sun rise with notebook in hand and write the words he speaks to my heart. I want to share some of those words with you here . . . words on the cross.

The other day I gave a ride-share ride to a woman. We talked about many things, but because she said, “If only I could be sure that I could see my parents again in heaven,” I spoke my testimony to her. She was so amazed because she had never heard a testimony before. NEVER! She was in her mid-50s and even took notes.

Let’s preach the good news in our world first and then go to the world.

I love this! I often feel guilty that I don’t have strong political opinions…I understand it is important. But the time and effort to find truth politically is more than I am willing to invest. My passion is for the Hope of Jesus Christ because it is always trustworthy; it stands the test of time. That Hope transcends every political party or decision. I can ‘preach’ to those undecided about the Gospel because I KNOW Him as Truth. He will fulfill every promise, every longing of every heart!

  3. See, Billie Jo, you’re preaching already! As far as the elections, please check out my post from last July here: It’s kept my heart and my writing at peace this year. God bless you as you serve Him with your writing!
