I woke up at 4:30 AM with a full blown headache and exhaustion–super sick. God met me, coffee and pen in hand, before dawn. I kept writing until I had three pages of my notebook journal filled with praise to Him for all He is and all He does.
I wasn’t writing praises to convince Him to heal me. I didn’t even ask to be healed. But the result of “high praises” is that it takes us high, high up and closer to God. He healed me to the point that I got up and went outside and trimmed bushes and gardened.
This was a true miracle for me. I thought I’d be in bed all day. Hallelujah!
Let’s PRAISE GOD!
I PRAISE YOU, FATHER! My heart is full of love and adoration for You. I expect great things in my future because YOU are God and Your plans, discipline, teaching, and instruction are perfect. You are my Hope and all my springs of joy are you in You!
Even from inside my home, I saw the golden light, the first glow of dawn above the horizon this morning. Your artistry cheers my heart and I live for the day I see Your heaven, Your land without corruption. There no word can be uttered against You, for every soul there shall be made pure and every conscience sprinkled clean forever by the blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah!
You have given us the high privilege of adoption while we are yet in our sins and, at times, where we seem to live in the derelict orphanage of Satan. I HATE his works against your children. I love YOUR plans, Father, for they will succeed and carry treasures of goodness, YOUR goodness, into eternity. GLORY to GOD!
Your wonder fills my spirit and seeps into my mind, my will, and my songs. For it is YOUR holy breath that fills my lungs with life, the life Satan covets but cannot possess. GLORY to GOD! My Lord and my God, You and your children WEAR Your light and Your Victor’s crown. I like it that you want us to dress like You! Apart from Your righteousness, we fall away in rags; yet in your love and kindness you raise us up into Your arms, clothe us in white, set your seal of adoption upon our forehead, and show us how to stand, ever holding on to You. Wow! No wonder your children praise you.
My heart is filled with a God-theme and Holy Spirit of God, You honor me, honor all of Your children with your omnipresence. Holy, holy, holy!
Oh, that ALL of Your children will join hands and praise You! We love You, Father, and desire to bless Your heart with our love and surrender to do Your will.
May GOD be praised and magnified above all the thoughts of men and exalted above all the schemes of the devil.
Oh, God, arise! Let Your enemies be silenced and Your works on the earth amplified. Grant us Your Holy Spirit of Counsel and Might, Wisdom, Knowledge, and the Fear of the Lord that we may boldly proclaim your works to the next generation.
Let the sick say, “I am healed.”
Let the weak say, “I am strong.”
Let the poor say, “I am rich.”
Let the coward say, “I am fearless.”
Let the hated say, “I am loved.”
Let the sinner say, “I am forgiven.”
Let the lost say, “I am found.”
Let the orphan say, “Abba! Father! I am WANTED!”
HALLELUJAH!
Isaiah 11:1-4 (NKJV) THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD UPON JESUS
There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
2
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
3
His delight is in the fear of the Lord,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
4
But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
Some powerful weapons of warfare here. thank you

My salvation came about because I read a book entitled “Power in Praise.” So, because of that, praise and worship is still my “go-to” weapon in spiritual battles. God bless you.

Now that is an unusual salvation testimony, Larry. I keep praying that my relatives who are on FB will also feel drawn to Christ through the praises posted there and, maybe, through this blog. Thank you for your insight!

The easiest people to get saved are our family members. Why? Because our Father is family focused. If we praise and worship Him and actually place our family members in His hands, He will work in each of their lives. I have watched this work out in my own family, even in a family member who professed to be an agnostic and never wanted anything to do with me ever again. She died, knowing Jesus as her Lord. It’s not my responsibility – except maybe in prayer – to save or draw my family members to Him, it’s His.

Great word, Hope. I actually pray for you each day, as I pray for the animals you/we sent to China years ago, that God would continue to use them and keep them and the hearers safe. Be blessed, my sister. I was glad to be a part of that ministry effort. I pray for your present efforts, that they will honor and glorify the Lord Jesus.

Glory to God! Jean, I can never thank you enough for praying for me. How honored I am to have such a prayer warrior taking my name to our Father each day. THANK YOU dear sister. Please pray that I will know the full knowledge of His will regarding books and anything else He may have in mind for me regarding China. I’m sure that children are still listening to those stories with their stuffed animals. God bless you for your participation in the Gospel!
